Pastor Stevens preached the Gospel from the same pulpit in the [Communist] Congress Hall filled with people. Being touched by God's presence with tears and emotion, 400 people [there] decided to commit their lives to Jesus Christ. We believe God showed us then what great things he could do in Warsaw. Pastor, you are part of Polish history.

Pastor Stevens was a listener of God and people. As a pastor he initiated in communication with God's Word. As a believer, his human spirit was constantly in touch with the throne of Grace. As a spiritual father, he admonished, exhorted, and always edified each individual.
